Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

This course is designed to introduce basic macroeconomic fields of concern, such as economic fluctuations, general equilibrium, and economic growth. It starts with a revision of the main tools and elements of theory. The next topics offer an introduction to the basic macroeconomic theory as it has evolved to its current state and a review of the Keynesian approach. In turn, specific issues of macroeconomics such as growth, consumption, debt and deficit, financial markets, and crises are analyzed.
