Descripción del Curso

Clinical Biochemistry is the bridge between Biochemistry and Clinical Medicine and teaches students the following:  

- Basic principles of operation of a Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory,  

- Laboratory investigation of the function of major organs (liver, kidneys, endocrine system, gastrointestinal system, cardiovascular system, bones, pregnancy, hereditary metabolic disorders, laboratory tests in the Emergency Department, basic analytical techniques), 

- Interpretation and evaluation of laboratory analysis results for accurate diagnosis and monitoring of disease treatment.
