The course is addressing issues that confront philosophers and social scientists alike, such as the unity of method, causality in social sciences, the philosophy and methodology of well-being, the relationship between economics and psychology, decision-making as well as topics like the economic calculation debate. Upon completion of the course students will be able to critically engage with philosophical issues regarding social sciences as well as with the methodological uncertainties that emerge therein.
